Luminous Shimmer has a sparkling, metallic finish. Pearluster has a glowing, iridescent finish. Satin Matte has a creamy matte finish that can also be used in brows.

I fully support Alima Pure’s principles and am happy that they offer a collection of loose mineral eyeshadows. I prefer sparkly and brightening one-&-done eyeshadows that flatter light-medium olive complexion with brown eyes and Venus is my favorite. Here is my attempt at color & texture descriptions: Cappuccino-muted brown bronze shimmer; Brown Sugar-golden brown shimmer with soft bronze sparkles; Chai-rose gold shimmer (another favorite); Mohair-translucent muted peach matte (surprisingly beautiful brightening, natural color); Paris-pale taupe shimmer with silver sparkles; Leone-soft gold sparkles; Gazelle-pale rose gold champagne sheen (should be classified as Pearluster rather than Luminous); Silk-champagne sheen (doubles as a highlighter); Venus-pale rose gold shimmer with champagne sparkles; Glow-pale golden cream sheen.

i will be completely honest. I added this eyeshadow to my cart because it was on sale and i needed something else for free shipping. I don't usually prefer loose shadow over pressed but this has really convinced me to give it another go! i got the silk and orchid. WOW. They are just beautiful, ultra pigmented as described and so easy to blend. That's super important to me because i am not a master blender HAHA. I will most definitely be purchasing more, even at full price! Don't hesitate to give these a go!

I love these eye shadows! The quality, consistency, and colors are amazing. they are not sheer like other brands, there is actual color! I bough Paloma, Mohair, Blonde, Mahogany and Auburn. I have olive/tan skin. I looked everywhere at every natural brand for warm earthy colors. I wanted natural looking colors for day and night wear. Nobody had them (or I didn't like what other brands had). Then I found Alima Pure. These shadows feel soft, velvety and luxurious. And I noticed that it hides the tiny fine lines in my creases and the creapey skin on my lids. It makes it look smooth! My only wish is that I would have loved these same colors in a pressed shadow instead of loose powder. I'm always in a hurry and the loose powder gets messy if i'm not careful. some of it will fall in the inner corner of my eyes or on my eyes (at which point i have to re-do foundation on those areas). I hope someday Alima makes these same colors in pressed. It would be easier (especially if traveling). Until then, I'll continue to use these! LOVE these eye shadows!!

My favorite thing about this product is that you really only need one shade to get a full "look". The different finishes each make a statement in their own way, and the shade range is robust and well-rounded. My favorites are Cypress, Black Orchid, Gazelle, Taupe, Paloma, and Ube. I apply them with the allover eyeshadow brush or the highlighter brush, and achieve a beautiful look with ease.
